Children
We serve children ages 5-12, assisting them with a variety of therapeutic modalities. Our approach to child psychotherapy combines an understanding of family dynamics with a cognitive behavioral skill-building approach. This allows the family to join together in a healthy way to support the child in treatment.
Adolescents
The Sachs Center works with teens, especially those reluctant to share their feelings. Successful treatment requires a strong bond between the therapist and the teenager to build trust and foster change. We believe this is the core ingredient for real growth in therapy.
Adults
Our treatment for adults takes a variety of forms, depending on the needs of the client. For deeper emotional issues, we recommend a traditional supportive therapeutic relationship, looking at the roadblocks that prevent real change. For others, a pro-active goal-oriented coaching relationship may be more effective.
Our Service List
Individual Therapy

Consumer Reports magazine reported in their extensive study that 9 out of 10 Americans reported positive benefits for psychotherapy. Consumer Reports gave psychological health care a solid endorsement. Our staff practices both cognitive behavioral therapy and gestalt therapy, depending on your specific needs and goals.
