Q: Why is your fee so low?
Thank you for your question. Many other psychologists charge thousands of dollars for a diagnostic evaluation. Unfortunately, they are doing tests that are not necessary for a diagnosis of Autism or ADHD, like IQ cognitive testing or academic testing. All of the clients we test have average or above average IQs and finished college so these tests are unnecessary. This is why we don’t charge as much because we don’t give unnecessary testing. Thank you for asking your question. We do a two-hour comprehensive telehealth assessment using the latest diagnostic self-questionnaires to accurately assess for Autism or ADHD. At the conclusion of the testing, if you or your loved one meet criteria, the psychologist immediately gives you a letter indicating your diagnosis. There is NO report, but this letter allows you to seek out medication or accommodations in the workplace.
