Before any effective treatment can take place, it’s important to get an accurate picture of the problem through comprehensive testing. We offer the latest in evidence-based assessment tools to provide you with a thorough understanding of the challenges you or your loved one are facing. The Sachs Center offers the following assessments.

ADD/ADHD/ASD Testing

This is our own proprietary method for assessing ADD/ADHD/ASD in children, teens and adults. This process takes 1.5 to 2 hours and is comprehensive. At the end of the assessment, you will know if you or a loved one has ADD, ADHD, ASD or Aspergers and how you can get the help you need.  Please click on the links to learn more about our testing methods.

Neuropsychological Assessment

Neuropsychological Testing

Neuropsychological testing is used primarily by students and parents seeking accommodations from schools, school districts or testing boards (see below).

This assessment is about 10-12 hours in length and culminates with a 15-page report that you can submit to your school or testing board for accommodations. We use the term neuropsychological and psychoeducational interchangeably. Please click on the link to learn more about our neuropsychological /psychoeducational testing.

Neuropsychological Assessment

While there are many competent clinicians in New York City, not all clinicians can accurately diagnose and make clear and specific recommendations….  I highly recommend Dr. Sachs to families who are looking for answers to their child’s educational challenges.
