No. We are a fully out-of-network provider and do not accept any insurance plans. We only accept credit cards, and we provide a superbill so you can seek reimbursement through your out-of-network benefits.
Reimbursement varies by plan, but most out-of-network policies reimburse between $400 and $800 when you submit our superbill — bringing your effective cost for an $890 combined evaluation to as low as $90–$490.
A superbill is an itemized receipt with your provider info and CPT diagnostic codes. After your evaluation we send it to you, and you submit it to your insurance company to request out-of-network reimbursement.

Yes — any card with a Visa or Mastercard logo works, including HSA, FSA, and Care Credit. If your HSA/FSA card is declined at booking, use a regular credit card and submit the superbill to your HSA/FSA for reimbursement.

Yes. A standard pre-authorization letter is available at sachscenter.com/preauthorization. We don’t fill out individual insurer forms, but that letter — combined with our superbill — is typically sufficient for out-of-network reimbursement requests.

Types of Testing — What Do I Need?

We offer four testing options: (1) 2-hour ADHD Diagnostic Evaluation ($790), (2) 2-hour Autism Diagnostic Evaluation ($790), (3) 2-hour Combined ADHD + Autism (AuDHD) Evaluation ($890), and (4) the full 8-hour Neuropsychological Evaluation ($5,995). All are available via telehealth; the 8-hour is also offered in-person in NYC.
If you want a diagnosis for personal understanding, medication, therapy, workplace accommodations, or university accommodations, the 2-hour evaluation is clinically sufficient. You only need the 8-hour neuropsychological evaluation if you’re seeking extra time on standardized tests (SAT, GRE, LSAT, MCAT, GMAT, USMLE, Bar Exam), suspect a co-occurring learning disability, or have a history of complex brain trauma.
The 2-hour is a targeted clinical diagnostic evaluation using DSM-5-based interview, behavioral observation, and standardized rating scales. The 8-hour adds a full cognitive battery — IQ (WAIS), academic achievement, memory, and processing speed — producing a 25-page report. Both yield a valid diagnosis; the 8-hour just adds cognitive data required by standardized test boards.
Choose ADHD ($790) if your concerns are focus, attention, executive function, or impulsivity. Choose Autism ($790) if your concerns are social communication, sensory sensitivities, or restricted/repetitive patterns. Choose Combined AuDHD ($890) if you suspect both — many adults have overlapping traits, and combined testing is only $100 more than a single evaluation.
A clinical interview with a licensed PhD/PsyD psychologist plus evidence-based rating scales including the ASRS-4, Brown EF/A, D-REF, Wender-Utah, BDEFS-SF, and BASC-3. We also screen for co-occurring anxiety, depression, PTSD, and OCD. You receive your diagnostic impression at the end of the session and a formal diagnostic letter within 24 hours.
A clinical interview plus a suite of evidence-based tools: AQ, RAADS-R, Monotropism Questionnaire, CAT-Q, EQ, SRS-2, SCQ, Aspie Quiz, BASC-3, RBQ-2A, and the ADOS Module 4 for verbally fluent adolescents and adults. If diagnosed, your Autism level (1, 2, or 3) is specified.
Cognitive/IQ testing (WAIS), academic achievement testing, memory assessments, and processing speed measures, plus learning disability testing (dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia). It culminates in a comprehensive 25-page report with objective cognitive data that standardized testing boards require for accommodations.
Learning disability testing (dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia) is only included in the full 8-hour neuropsychological evaluation — it is not part of the 2-hour evaluation. If you suspect a learning disability alongside ADHD or Autism, the 8-hour evaluation is the right choice.
Generally, no. Most major testing boards require comprehensive neuropsychological documentation with objective IQ and processing speed data. A 2-hour diagnostic letter is rarely sufficient — the 8-hour neuropsychological evaluation is what those boards require.
We evaluate children as young as age 2 through adults of any age. The core evaluation structure stays the same, but the specific test battery is age-appropriate — for example, children are assessed with tools like the SRS-2, ASRS, SCQ, and BASC-3, while adults receive tools like the AQ, RAADS-R, CAT-Q, ASRS-4, and ADOS Module 4.

We combine a structured clinical interview with evidence-based self questionnaires. Our psychologists are experts in diagnosing Autism and use their clinical judgment with the scores from questionnaires to make a diagnostic conclusion.

The report is best for those who want to gain a better understanding about themselves, or to seek disability or accommodation (IEP, 504) in school or college. Sometimes a psychiatrist will request a full neuropsychological assessment, but typically a diagnostic assessment and report will satisfy their requirements.

For ADHD, we use the Wender-Utah, Brown EF/A, DREF, BDEF-SF, and sometimes the BASC-3. For Autism, we use the AQ, RAADS-R, Monotropism Questionnaire, Aspie Quiz, and Cat-Q. However, testing alone isn’t enough—we rely on our clinical judgment for accurate assessments.

Yes. All our doctors are clinical psychologists specifically trained in the diagnosis and assessment of mental health challenges, including ADHD and Autism. Psychiatrists can also diagnose these conditions, but our psychologists have specialized training in psychological assessment.
