The evaluation was extremely thorough. They took into account my detailed life history, gave me multiple online tests, and then a 2 hour interview on zoom. It was all done online. And the price is much more affordable than in person evaluations. The psychologist who evaluated me, Faith Sproul, was very neuro affirming, respectful, kind, patient, gentle, and very professional. Never was I made to feel as though my ASD 1 diagnosis meant there was something wrong or deficient. My Autism assessment was a great experience. The Psychologist assigned to me was very knowledgeable and comfortable to work with. This was an excellent experience. If you need testing only and are looking for experienced doctors, this is the place. Testing was affordable (especially compared to full 8-hour assessments), fast (same-day results instead of waiting weeks), and my doctor had 20 years of experience. She was neuroaffirming, up to date on recent research, and genuinely empathetic. I got exactly what I needed and felt supported throughout.

My only feedback concerns the volume of emails. I booked an appointment just a few days out and received about 8 emails—too many, I think. With ADHD, I lose track of details after about two. 😉
The zoom evaluation was convenient, not too lengthy and to the point. They gave us the questionnaires to make out beforehand which was helpful. Dr Krauss was professional, very positive and thoughtful. At the end of the evaluation he confirmed my daughter is ADHD negative even though she has some elements of it but not enough to diagnosed as an ADHD. He encouraged and gave her some advices on how to improve those elements. He didn't push her for therapy but did say just email him anytime needed. In general were were comfortable with his session. The cost is reasonable enough since it only focuses on ADHD and Autism with options of getting the official report if positive or needed. We are satisfied with Sachs Center.
I paid for a dual assessment of Autism and ADHD with a report recommending accomadations for school and work. I got my diagnosis and was clearly explained what types and how it affects my life. Autism is a spectrum, and I was able to see exactly where I am in the spectrum.

How does a focused 2-hour evaluation differ from the 8-hour neuropsychological evaluation?
A focused 2-hour diagnostic evaluation addresses specific ADHD or autism questions. The 8-hour neuropsychological evaluation is broader and includes cognitive, academic, memory, and emotional assessments. If you need documentation for standardized-test or university accommodations, obtain the organization’s requirements before choosing a service.
When will I receive my neuropsychological report?
The neuropsychological package includes a 25-page report delivered four weeks after testing. This is separate from the timelines for our focused diagnostic evaluations. Ask our office about feedback arrangements and any deadlines you need to meet before booking.
Can neuropsychological testing be completed online?
Contact our office to confirm the assessment format for your age, location, and purpose. The clinical interview may take place through secure video or in person. Your clinician can explain which testing arrangements are appropriate for the questions you want to address and any documentation requirements.
What happens during a neuropsychological assessment?
The process includes a clinical interview about your history and concerns, clinical review, evidence-based testing, and discussion of findings and recommendations. Testing measures memory, cognitive abilities, academic skills, and executive functioning. Your clinician will explain preparation and the assessment schedule.
Why see a neuropsychologist for this evaluation?
Our licensed neuropsychologist provides a detailed assessment using clinical information and evidence-based testing. The purpose is to understand your pattern of strengths and challenges and provide recommendations and documentation related to your referral questions.
Will the evaluation consider other concerns?
The evaluation considers emotional concerns such as anxiety and depression alongside cognitive and academic performance. Share relevant medical, educational, and clinical history so your neuropsychologist can decide what the assessment should address and whether further evaluation is needed.
Should family members provide information?
Input from a partner, parent, family member, or another person who knows you may provide useful context. Previous school or clinical records can also help. Your clinician will guide you on questionnaires and which information is relevant to your evaluation.
Can my report support school, testing, or workplace accommodations?
The detailed report may support a request for standardized-test, university, school, or workplace accommodations. Approval and documentation requirements belong to the receiving organization. Share its criteria with our office before booking; a report does not guarantee a specific accommodation decision.
What support is available after the evaluation?
Recommendations depend on the findings and your priorities. They may include psychoeducation, therapy, practical support strategies, or referrals. If medication is relevant to a specific concern, discuss suitability with a prescribing clinician.
