The Sachs Center offers three types of testing. See our offerings below and find the one that best meets your needs.
Diagnostic Testing
This evaluation aims to determine if you, or a loved one, has ADHD, Autism or AuDHD (both). The assessment is conducted virtually via Zoom or Google Meet and typically takes between 2 and 2.5 hours. We utilize current, validated self-report measures and assessments.
At the conclusion of the evaluation, you will receive a letter from your psychologist outlining the diagnosis (if applicable). You will also receive an email containing resources to help you learn more about your diagnosis and support you on your neurodivergent journey. The letter (see example) can be used to obtain medication from another healthcare provider or to request workplace accommodations.

Diagnostic testing with a comprehensive report offers the same services as testing with a letter, but goes further. Following your evaluation, you'll receive the letter, plus a detailed, 4-page diagnostic report from your psychologist.
This report includes your mental health history, current challenges at work, school, or home, a diagnosis (if applicable), and personalized recommendations. It paints a more complete picture of how ADHD and/or Autism may be affecting your life and can be shared with other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated care.
Our report can also be used to access medication, therapy, workplace accommodations and accomodations in a university setting.
You should also be able to seek disability services from your state with this report (if unable to work due to the severity of your condition).

Neuropsychological Testing (+ Report)
Neuropsychological testing is available for teens and adults seeking extended time accommodations on standardized tests such as the ACT, GRE, SAT, and GMAT.
Testing is conducted online via Zoom or in person (only in NYC). This in-depth evaluation culminates in a detailed, approximately 25-page report.

Important: Please only book the consult if you are aware the fee is $5995.00 and that we do not take insurance. Also if you are not looking for standardized testing accommodations (SAT, ACT, GRE GMAT, etc.) you most likely do not need this type of testing. If you are looking for disability or an IEP in elementary school, diagnostic testing with a report is all that is needed.
