October marks the national Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder Awareness Month: a month dedicated to educating the public about the truth about ADHD, and providing the public with scientifically-backed information and studies.
Although as a nation we have come a long way in terms of changing our attitude towards ADHD diagnosis, there are still thousands of individuals who are misinformed or unaware about the realities of living with ADHD. For the coming month we encourage families who are involved with ADHD to reaffirm their knowledge of the disorder, and to maintain confidence in their stance about ADHD.
The Sachs Center has opened a new location in Brooklyn and Union Square to better support our clients. All of our locations are happy to answer any questions you may have about ADHD and ADHD Awareness Month, and we encourage you to speak with our psychologists. New York City residents can contact us at (855) 718-5993.
