Is Sachs Center a legitimate practice? How to check credentials
Sachs Center is a psychology practice founded by Dr. George Sachs, PsyD, offering ADHD and autism evaluations. Our team page identifies our clinicians and their professional backgrounds. Evaluate the credentials of the individual clinician who will see you, as well as the practice.
Ask for your clinician’s full name, license number, licensing state, and authorization to provide telehealth where you will be located. For New York psychologists, use the New York State Office of the Professions license verification service. For clinicians licensed elsewhere, use that state’s licensing board. A diagnostic letter and a full report are different
Diagnostic Testing includes a formal diagnostic letter. Diagnostic Testing + Report adds a detailed clinical report with the diagnostic picture and recommendations. The detailed report is not included in the letter-only package.
If you need documentation for school, work, disability services, or another provider, obtain their requirements before selecting a package. Documentation acceptance depends on the recipient’s requirements. For learning-disability questions or standardized-test accommodations, ask about our neuropsychological testing services; a focused ADHD/autism evaluation and a full neuropsychological evaluation have different scopes.
What happens during the evaluation?
Our evaluation walkthrough explains preparation, the clinical interview, assessment tools, and discussion of the clinician’s diagnostic impression. The clinician considers your history and assessment information. A booking does not guarantee an ADHD or autism diagnosis.

How is AI used in report writing?
Sachs Center uses AI only to assist with report writing. AI is not used to conduct evaluations or make diagnostic decisions. The clinician reviews the report for accuracy.
