Our Diagnostic Process

1. Choose and book your assessment

Select ADHD, autism or both, and choose whether to include a detailed six-page clinical report. Pick an available appointment with Dr. Meisel, check the time zone and payment currency shown, and complete your booking.

2. Share your history before the appointment

Complete forms about your history, experiences and goals, along with standardised rating scales sent to you. This helps your psychologist arrive with a fuller understanding of what brings you to an assessment.

3. Meet with your clinical psychologist

Your focused clinical interview takes place by secure video, typically over 2–2.5 hours. It is understandable to feel anxious. Stimming, fidgeting and breaks are welcome, and we accommodate different communication styles and processing speeds.

4. Discuss findings and next steps

Review the findings with your psychologist and make space to process a diagnosis if one is given. Discuss your diagnostic letter, any report you have selected, and the next steps that fit your situation.

5. Plan support after assessment

Receive a personalised resources roadmap and recommendations to help you move forward. If you need documentation for university or workplace support, share those requirements so your psychologist can discuss what is appropriate.

Are appointments in person in Leeds?

No. This page describes our online service for the Leeds area. Appointments with Dr. Meisel take place by secure video; there is no local clinic visit.

Can I be assessed for ADHD and autism together?

Yes. A combined assessment explores both ADHD and autism. Some people use the term AuDHD to describe having both. Choose the combined option when booking and explain the questions you want to explore.

Do you work with people who mask?

Yes. Dr. Meisel’s clinical interests include high-masking young adults and professionals. Tell her about the effort behind your routines and coping strategies, even if you appear to manage well to others.

What should I check before booking for a child or teenager?

Share the child’s age and the purpose of the assessment with our team to confirm suitability and the appropriate appointment. If a school needs documentation, ask the school what it requires before choosing a package.

Will my university or employer accept the report?

Each recipient determines its evidence requirements. Ask your university’s disability support team or your employer what is needed and share those requirements before booking. A diagnosis does not automatically guarantee a particular adjustment.

Does the assessment include medication?

This is a psychological assessment service. Medication assessment and prescribing are separate services. If medication is a goal, discuss appropriate UK next steps with your psychologist and the clinician who would provide ongoing care.

Are the prices fixed in pounds?

No. The pound figures are indicative conversions of the USD package fees, checked on 29 September 2026. Check the actual payment currency and amount shown before paying. Exchange rates and card fees can change the final GBP cost.
