At the Sachs Center, we offer two testing options. The 2-hour Diagnostic Testing which focuses specifically on a diagnosis of ADHD and/or Autism and screens for anxiety and depression, and provides same-day results with a diagnosis letter for medication referral or workplace accommodations. You can add a report to this for $400. The 5 page report adds more in depth information about yourself and can be used for accommodations in a university or to seek disability.
The second type of testing is our 8-hour neuropsychological evaluation. This is more comprehensive, includes cognitive testing (IQ), academic testing, memory, and emotional assessments. It’s typically ONLY required for standardized test accommodations (SAT, LSAT, MCAT) or university support.

We conduct evaluations via Zoom or Google Meet using evidence-based self-report tests and comprehensive clinical interviews. No. Sachs Center is an out-of-network provider and does not accept any insurance, Medicaid, or Medicare. Payment is due in full at the time of booking. You'll receive a superbill with diagnostic codes (90791-95, 96136-95, 96130-95, 96146-95) to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement. HSA and FSA cards are accepted as long as they carry a Visa or Mastercard logo.
Combined ADHD + Autism evaluation: $890 — includes the 2-hour assessment and your Diagnostic Letter. Yes. We evaluate children starting at age 3. Children younger than 3 typically require an in-person ADOS assessment, which we do not offer. For children, we use a suite of evidence-based tools including the SRS-2 (critical for identifying masking in girls), ASRS, SCQ (developmental history), and BASC-3 (differential diagnosis between autism and emotional/behavioral concerns). Yes. Combined AuDHD testing is our standard offering — $890 for the evaluation, with the option to add the full Diagnostic Report for $400. We use the ADOS as part of our autism diagnostic battery. Our clinicians are also experienced in identifying Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA) profiles. While PDA isn't a standalone DSM-5 diagnosis, we'll address it in your report with a detailed narrative — describing how demand avoidance manifests for you, differentiating it from ODD, and offering tailored recommendations like low-demand environments and indirect language strategies.
The 8-hour neuropsychological battery is only necessary in a few specific cases: — You need extra-time accommodations on a high-stakes standardized test (SAT, GRE, GMAT, LSAT, MCAT, Bar Exam) and the testing board specifically requires a paper-and-pencil battery. — You suspect a co-occurring learning disability like dyslexia. — You have a history of complex brain trauma or a question of TBI/dementia is in play. Yes — this is a core part of what the 2-hour evaluation is designed to do. Many adults arrive having been told for years that their symptoms were "just anxiety" or "just trauma," when in fact they're navigating undiagnosed neurodivergence underneath. Our clinicians are trained to differentiate neurodivergence from overlapping conditions like CPTSD, generalized anxiety, depression, OCD, and personality disorders — and to identify when several are present at once. We'll note which DSM-5 criteria you meet, which symptoms overlap, and what's better explained by something else.
No. If you were diagnosed in the 90s or early 2000s, your session will feel much more like a reassessment of your current cognitive health than a search for a label. We're not interested in just reconfirming what you were told decades ago. The real question is: "How is your brain handling the executive demands of your life today?" ADHD and autism symptoms shift as we age — task paralysis, sensory overload, burnout, and intrusive thoughts often look very different at 40 than they did at 15. Your old diagnosis is a useful data point, but our goal is to give you a "user manual" for your brain as it exists now, with current recommendations that map to your real life.

No — Sachs Center is a diagnostic facility, not a prescribing one. We don't provide medication management directly. However, your Diagnostic Letter is fully sufficient for any psychiatrist or primary care physician to begin medication management. Many of our clients take the letter directly to their existing PCP and start treatment within weeks. If you don't have a prescriber, we can recommend a clinical partner who handles medication management remotely.
