Book Your Evaluation
Booking is simple: choose ADHD testing, autism testing, or both, and select whether you need a six-page clinical report. Then pick an appointment time and pay online.
Complete Your Intake
Before your session, you'll complete a brief set of forms so your psychologist can hit the ground running — your history, symptoms, and goals. You'll also complete standardized rating scales sent to you to give your psychologist a multi-perspective view of your experiences.
Your Evaluation Session
A focused, 2–2.5-hour clinical interview with your clinical psychologist via secure telehealth. It’s natural to feel anxious, and you don’t need to hide it. Stimming, fidgeting, and breaks are welcome. We accommodate different communication styles and processing speeds, with the interview completed in one session rather than spread across multiple visits.
Your Findings and Documentation
Discuss your results, findings, and next steps with your psychologist, with time to process your diagnosis if one is given. Your diagnostic letter is provided by the day after testing. If you selected a full clinical report, it is prepared separately and also sent the day after testing.
Diagnosis Is the Beginning
We don’t hand you a report and disappear. Every client receives a resource roadmap with a clear, personalized action plan, including referrals for therapy, group coaching, or medication management. If you need further documentation or guidance for university or workplace accommodations, we offer additional support through that process.

We offer ADHD, autism, and combined evaluations for children ages 4 and up, teens, and adults in the Raleigh area. Contact the office to confirm the appropriate service and telehealth availability for your age and location.
A diagnostic evaluation typically takes 2–2.5 hours by video. Your psychologist reviews your history, discusses your experiences, and uses relevant assessments. Tell us about communication preferences or support needs when booking.
The evaluation with a diagnostic letter is $790 for ADHD or autism, or $890 for both. The full-report option includes the evaluation, letter, and a detailed clinical report for $1,190 or $1,290 respectively. The report adds $400. Diagnostic documentation reflects the findings of your evaluation.

Sachs Center is an out-of-network provider and does not accept insurance, Medicaid, or Medicare. You may request a superbill to submit for possible out-of-network reimbursement; check your benefits with your insurer. Credit, debit, HSA, and FSA payments are accepted. Affirm and Klarna options are advertised at booking, subject to availability and provider approval.
Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance to receive a refund. Refunds are subject to a 3% credit card processing fee and take 7–10 days. Contact [email protected] with questions before booking.
